Pura Taman Ayun
Can’t wait for blogging after some time busy with my work, today I finally get blogging too. Yep this time I will share my experience at Taman Ayun Mengwi Temple.

Pura Taman Ayun

Taman Ayun Mengwi Temple is located in the area of Mengwi, Badung, Bali. The distance from the airport is about 75 minutes. Taman Ayun Temple was founded in 1634 AD by the first King Mengwi namely King I Gusti Agung Putu, with title Ida Cokorda Sakti Belambangan. Built for the worship of the ancestral spirits and the Gods.

First enter you will pass the bridge which is the main door of the temple. Here you will enter the entrance ticket, for local tourists IDR 10k  and for foreign tourists IDR 20k. Cheap enough right ?? ^^

Well as usual for you who want to know more about the history of Taman Ayun Temple Mengwi, always use the Guide Tour, you can order the Guide Tour in entrance tickets. In addition you have also helped the locals, but for the low buget it doesn't matter without the Tour Guide. ^^

Once you pay for your ticket, you will be forwarded by an officer who will lend a typical Balinese sarong. For tourists who wear pants or skirts above the knee should use a cloth to cover the knee, this is a destination for homage to a sacred temple.

Not far from the left entrance ticket there is a fountain of 9 wind direction, and on the right there is a place to Cockfighting. Enter again there is a door number 2, in this yard you can found is Aling aling Bale Pengubengan. This beautiful building is classified by relief. I'm amazed.

Enter again there is a door to the 3 that is toward the center of the temple. In this door there is a beautiful carving, when I saw it I was amazed by the culture of Indonesia.

For this part, I can only see from the outside because of the view of the temple and the small river. And the inside only for Hindu worship. In this area there are statues and Meru - meru for worship to the Hindu God.

Overall Taman Ayun Temple is very beautiful, which I love from Taman Ayun Temple is carving and location of Temple which is in the middle of the river. Makes me think, building this temple may be built for private worship by the King with his god.
In my opinion, true worship is a worship that is not for showing off and a personal relationship with God.

But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.  (Matthew 6: 6)
